A built-in French voice ships inside the extension, so every word plays clearly and works offline. No French voice to install.
Word Hunt and Défi
Hunt for French words hidden in the page, take turns, and pass the computer. Or challenge each other to a quick Défi quiz.
Learn as a family
Each person picks an emoji and a nickname. A shared streak with grace days, a friendly weekly leaderboard, and smart review that brings words back just before you'd forget them.
02Private by design
Petit Mot has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it collects nothing. The extension makes no network requests of its own: the words and the voice are inside it, and it works offline. Progress stays in your browser, and if you leave sync on, Chrome carries it to your other computers through your own Google account. It never runs on sign-in, payment, banking or email pages.

The word pack is built from Lexique 3.83 and Wiktionary and shared under CC BY-SA 4.0. The built-in voice was made with Piper and the SIWIS French voice (CC BY 4.0, University of Edinburgh).
